Hi, I’m Nicole Ashlee, founder of Granddaughter for Hire.
My grandmother took me in when I was fifteen and has been there for me ever since. She is my favourite person, and the love and support she has given me are the heart of this business.

As she has grown older, I’ve helped more with everyday things: household tasks, technology, and simply spending time together. Helping make her life easier showed me how much a familiar face, a good conversation, and someone you can count on can mean. It inspired a belief that guides everything I do: every senior deserves a dedicated granddaughter in their corner.

Through Granddaughter for Hire, I want to offer seniors in Victoria and Oak Bay the kind of thoughtful support I give my own grandmother. Sometimes that means helping with a meal or an errand; other times, it means sitting together, listening, and sharing a laugh. It starts with getting to know you and understanding what would make your day a little easier and brighter.

My hope is that every visit leaves you feeling supported, valued, and a little less alone—and gives your family peace of mind. Granddaughter for Hire grew from my love for my grandmother, and that personal commitment continues to shape the care and attention we bring to every relationship.
